The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is now accepting online applications from college and university students for the Central Sector Scheme scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year. The deadline for submission is October 31. Interested students can find more details and apply at scholarships.gov.in/Students.
The CBSE notification advises all candidates to apply within the given timeframe and have their applications verified by their respective institutions. If required, students must present original documents for verification. Failure to do so will result in the application being deemed invalid.
Students are required to register using a One-Time Registration (OTR) number, password and Captcha code. Through OTR, details like the student’s photograph and demographic information will be automatically fetched. If any changes are needed, students must update their Aadhaar card, and these updates will be reflected in their OTR profile via a new eKYC process. The updated information will then automatically appear in the NSP application form.
– Students must register their mobile numbers and provide the OTP sent to the registered number.
– Incorrect or false information may result in the rejection of the scholarship application.
– Students, parents, or legal guardians are advised to provide an active mobile number and email address during OTR registration, as all communications will be sent to the provided contact details.
