The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM-K) has officially released the notification for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025. The entrance test is for getting admission to MBA programs at IIMs and other leading B-schools across India. As per the announcement, CAT 2025 will be conducted on November 30 in online mode at multiple centres nationwide.
CAT registration dates and fee details
Aspiring candidates can begin their registration from August 1 through the official website iimcat.ac.in. The deadline for submitting applications is September 13. To register, candidates need a valid email ID and mobile number, after which they can fill out the detailed application form and upload the required documents.
The registration fee is Rs 2,600 for General category candidates and Rs 1,300 for SC, ST and PwD candidates. Payment can be made via credit/debit cards, net banking or UPI.
CAT 2025 eligibility criteria
Candidates applying for CAT 2025 must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD). Final-year undergraduate students are also eligible to apply. A full list of eligibility conditions is available on the CAT’s official website.

- Enter personal details and verify your email ID
- Fill out the application form with accurate academic and personal information
- Upload necessary documents and pay the registration fee

What documents are required for CAT 2025?
Applicants need to upload scanned copies of Class 10 and 12 mark sheets along with their graduation certificates or latest semester results (if final year). Candidates can also upload work experience certificates if applicable. Copies of valid photo ID, relevant category certificates (SC/ST/PwD), if applicable, need to be uploaded too. Passport-size photograph and signature will be required and final-year students must also upload a certificate from their institution.
CAT 2025 admit card and result dates
CAT 2025 admit cards will be available for download from November 5 to November 30. The CAT 2025 result is expected in the first week of January 2026.
