The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode is holding the CAT 2025 exam today. The result is expected to come out in the first week of January 2026. The exam is being held in around 170 cities and candidates were allowed to choose up to five cities while selecting their exam centre.
CAT 2025 is an entrance exam for getting admission into MBA and other higher studies programmes at IIMs and several other participating colleges.
The exam will be held in three different time slots at various test centres across the country. The exam duration is two hours and will include three sections – Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Ability (QA). This year, about 2.95 lakh candidates have registered for the exam.

On the homepage, click on the CAT 2025 admit card link available
Enter the login credentials
Click on the Submit button.
The IIM CAT Admit Card 2025 will be displayed on the screen.
Download and save it for exam day.
Students are advised to print multiple copies and check all details carefully.
CAT 2025: Check exam slots and timings
The first exam slot will end at 10:30 am. Each section will have a time limit of 40 minutes, and candidates cannot switch sections while attempting questions.
According to IIM Kozhikode, CAT will be attempted by 2.95 lakh candidates this year. Last year, 2.93 lakh students took the exam – including 1.07 lakh women, 1.86 lakh men, and five transgender candidates.
The official website for CAT 2025 is iimcat.ac.in. The exam convenor, Prof PN Ram Kumar from IIM Kozhikode, has reminded students to use only this website for all updates and applications. He said this is the only official portal and this information has already been shared through newspapers and other official sources.
