Anant National University, a DesignX University, has formalised  a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Culture. The signing ceremony took place at the IGNCA campus in New Delhi, marking the commencement of a postgraduate diploma programme in Cultural Management at Anant National University, according to an official release.

The goal is to equip students with the skills necessary for the effective management and preservation of cultural heritage in today’s dynamically changing world. This formidable partnership is poised to redefine the landscape of cultural management education, the release mentioned.

“This programme aims to harmonise with contemporary demands and values. AnantU’s vision of nurturing ‘solutionaries’ is rooted in interdisciplinary and collaborative learning. Partners like IGNCA play an instrumental role in propelling our journey forward, adding invaluable depth and perspective to our endeavours,” Anunaya Chaubey, provost, Anant National University, said.

Beyond the creation of the postgraduate diploma programme, this collaborative initiative extends to fostering knowledge exchange in the realms of design, indigenous arts and culture. Anticipated are collaborative events and forthcoming courses related to Cultural Management and Arts Administration, as per the release.
