CBSE 10th result 2016: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may well declare CBSE result today, May 28, 2016. The advise for CBSE class 10th students scouring the internet to find exact date of releasing CBSE result 2016 class 10 should stop agonising over it and instead try to channel their energies in positive directions. Rest assured that CBSE 10th result 2016 will be declared soon.

The anxiety is understandable as this time 14,99,122 candidates registered for the examinations (both board-based and school-based) and they need to know teh results as soon as possible to chalk out their future – academic or otherwise. So they need to know how well they scored here. CBSE class 10 results 2016 marks will determine the stream students will be taking – Science, Arts or Commerce.

Once declared, here are the steps to check CBSE 10th result 2016:

STEP 1. Visit the official website cbseresults.nic.in, or results.nic.in (results.gov.in)

STEP 2. Click on CBSE class 10 results 2016

STEP 3. Enter your registration number, name and date of birth

STEP 4. Check your result and then download the PDF copy of the scorecard

STEP 5. Take a print out of the PDF copy of your result. But don’t forget to collect the official hard copy of the result from your respective institute

CBSE has a good previous record in terms of stats about passing and failing percentage. In the year 2012, CBSE had a passing percentage of more than 97.86 which means that out of every 100 students, 97 of them passed the exam. In 2013, the passing percentage increased to 98.19 and in that year, there were more than 7 hundred thousand students who participated in the exams. 2014 saw another improvement in the passing percentage as it improved from 98.19 to 98.76 from 2013 to 2014. The passing percentage in 2015 again aggravated with a total of 98.87 percent of the students passing the exam.
