YouTuber Elvish Yadav has made headlines yet again. However, this time, his Gurugram residence was attacked today, on August 17. A group of men opened fire near the BPTP police station area earlier today, and one of them has been apprehended. Identified as Ishant, alias Ishu Gandhi, has been arrested after the encounter.

Visuals surfaced after several police officials were seen arriving on the site in Gurugram’s Sector 57. Ishu allegedly fired over six shots using an automatic pistol at them, which led to his hospitalisation due to a gunshot wound in the leg.

Present during the time of the shooting, Elvish Yadav’s father, Ram Avtar, was present inside the house. Speaking to news agencies, he claimed that more than 15 bullets were fired at the house during early hours of today at 5:30 AM. “We immediately checked the CCTV. We found that there were two people involved for sure, and probably a third one too,” claimed Ram Avtar as he described the shooting.

Who is Ishu Gandhi?

Ishant or Ishu Gandhi is a resident of Faridabad and is alleged to have been a part of the group that brought Elvish Yadav’s residence under gunfire. After being hit by the police in the leg, he has been admitted to the BK Hospital for treatment.

As per reports, he is a part of ‘Bhau Gang’, which claimed responsibility for the attack in a post on social media. “The bullets fired at Elvish Yadva’s house today were from our side. He has ruined many homes by promoting betting apps,” the group allegedly wrote on social media.

Ram Avtar did not reveal his son’s whereabouts when asked. He added that Yadav usually stayed away from his Gurugram residence due to his work. ” May God give wisdom to the people who did this. Naturally, we feel scared,” added his father.

As per the Gurugram Police PRO Sandeep Kumar, the men, apart from Ishu, are unidentified as of now. They fired over a “dozen rounds” of ammunition outside Elvish Yadav’s residence in the absence of the YouTuber and actor.
