The India Metrological Department has announced a yellow alert for heavy rains in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Mahe, and Karaikal. The IMD has also notified that there is a possibility of a gradual decline in minimum and maximum temperatures by 2-3 degrees Celsius over Eastern and Northwestern India from 3 November to 7 November. Light to moderate downpours, along with lightning and thunderstorms, are expected over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, Karaikal, and Mahe from 3 November to 4 November.
Isolated Heavy shower prediction
According to the Met Department’s weather bulletin, isolated heavy downpours are likely to be experienced in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Mahe, and Kerala on 3 November. Moreover, similar weather conditions are expected to prevail over Andaman and Nicobar Islands on 5 November.
Weather Forecast for Dehi-NCR
The national capital is anticipated to have a clear sky and will have mist on Sunday morning. The temperatures are expected to vary between 17 degrees Celsius and 34 degrees Celsius. Smog and mist will be there in the early morning. As per the latest report, Delhi’s air quality dropped further on Saturday and fell back to the ”very poor category” after showing some improvement signs in the morning. Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was measured at 316 at 4 pm as it indicated the further worsening of air pollution. There was also an indication of the onset of winter as strong winds along with smog covered the city.
