The India Meteorological Department in its latest weather bulletin has notified that there will be heavy to heavy rainfall in East and Madhya Pradesh on September 11. A red alert for extremely intense showers has been predicted in West Madhya Pradesh while an orange alert for very heavy downpours has been declared for Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and East Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rainfall has been predicted across several states in India. 

Weather Forecast for Northwest India

The IMD has predicted intense rains for Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand from Sept 11 to Sept 13. Haryana may experience it on Sept 12. Heavy downpours are likely to occur in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh from Sept 11 to Sept 14.

Heavy rainfall prediction in Southern India

Isolated heavy downpours are forecast in Coastal Karnataka from Sept 11 to Sept 12 and in South Interior Karnataka on Sept 11. An average shower may take place across Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, Yanam, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, Interior Karnataka, and Puducherry throughout this week.

Weather Update for East & Northeast India

The Met Department has also informed that there may be extremely heavy rains in Mizoram, southern Mizoram, and Tripura on Sept 13. Similar weather conditions will be prevalent in Meghalaya and Assam on Sept 13 and Sept 14. Isolated heavy showers might be experienced in Arunachal Pradesh from Sept 13 to Sept 16. Likewise, Tripura, Nagaland, Mizoram, and Manipur are expected to get from Sept 11 to Sept 14. Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, and Sikkim may receive it from Sept 12 to Sept 14. Jharkhand is likely to get on Sept 13 and Sept 14.

Western and Central India to receive heavy rainfall

An intense shower is projected to happen in West Madhya Pradesh on Sept 11. Additionally, similar weather patterns may be visible in Vidarbha on Sept 11 and Madhya Pradesh might get it from Sept 11 to Sept 14. Heavy rainfall conditions are likely to continue for this whole week in Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Konkan, and Vidarbha. Gujarat and Madhya Maharashtra are predicted to receive it today (Sept 11).
