Telangana Assembly Elections 2023: Telangana is set to cast votes for the assembly elections in November. Ahead of the election, political parties are now engaging in campaigning for their parties.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to address a public meeting at Adilabad today; October 10, 2023. He will also address a convention of intellectuals in Hyderabad.
This addressal of public and intellectuals will kick-start the poll campaign for the assembly elections which is to be held on November 30.
The rally will be addressed by Shah at 3 pm. He will also attend the convention of intellectuals in the evening, BJP sources said.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also expected to meet party leaders where they are likely to chalk out the poll strategies, as reports said.
The BJP in Telangana is optimistic that the upcoming assembly elections will gain momentum following the visit of Amit Shah.
Earlier this month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated developmental initiatives and delivered speeches at two rallies in Telangana, specifically in Mahabubnagar and Nizamabad.
During these events, Modi announced the formation of a National Turmeric Board, fulfilling a long-standing demand of turmeric farmers in Nizamabad, and committed to establishing a Central Tribal University in the state, as mandated by the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.
Numerous senior BJP leaders are anticipated to actively participate in the party’s campaign for the forthcoming assembly elections.
Earlier on October 3, PM Modi accused CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and Bharat Rashtra Samiti of corruption and nepotism during his address of a rally in Nizamabad, Telangana. PM Modi claimed that he rejected KCR’s request to join the NDA.
The Election Commission of India announced the assembly poll dates on Monday, October 9, 2023. On November 30, Telangana Assembly polls will be conducted, results of which will be declared on December 3, 2023.
