Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus and veteran industrialist Ratan Tata continues to be under medical care at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital for age-related health problems, as per individuals familiar with the issue. However, Ratan Tata himself took to X on Monday and clarified about his well-being and gave assurance to the public that there was no reason to panic. He also said that he was simply undergoing routine check-ups for his health conditions because of his old age.
In his social media post on X, the 86-year-old philanthropist dismissed reports of his hospitalisation and termed them as baseless rumours. ”These claims are unfounded,” Tata added and stressed that he was undergoing a routine medical checkup and it is related to his age.
Tata, who headed the Tata Group from March 1991 to December 2012, repeated that there is ”no cause for concern” and that he continues to be in good spirits. He also requested the media and the public to refrain from spreading misinformation related to his health.
Earlier, as per reports, Tata was rushed to Breach Candy Hospital in the early morning of Monday because of low blood pressure. However, he later posted a clarification on social media regarding the fake news and assured everyone about his well-being.
