Three people, allegedly linked to an ISI-controlled Pakistan-based terror module in Bathinda, were arrested by the Punjab Police’s Counter Intelligence team on Wednesday.
Taking to X, Punjab Police confirmed the arrest, reiterating their full commitment to maintaining peace in the state in accordance with the directives of CM Bhagwant Mann.

According to the police, preliminary investigations revealed that the three individuals had been in contact with individuals currently incarcerated in Sangrur Jail under UAPA cases 1/2.
Gaurav Yadav, Director General of Police (DGP), confirmed the recovery of a cache consisting of 8 weapons, 9 magazines, and 30 live cartridges.
An FIR has been registered at PS Cantt Bathinda, along with ongoing investigations aimed at unravelling both forward and backward linkages within this alleged terror network.
