Pune Porsche horrific accident

The accident, which occurred in the early hours of May 19 in Kalyani Nagar, Pune, resulted in the deaths of two IT professionals when a Porsche, allegedly driven by the intoxicated minor, collided with their two-wheeler.

The 17-year-old has been sent to an observation home, while his father, realtor Vishal Agarwal, and grandfather, Surendra Agarwal, have been arrested for allegedly kidnapping the family’s driver and coercing him to take the blame.

Family tries to cover up crime

The investigation uncovered attempts by the influential family to cover up the crime. Initially, they tried to bribe their family driver to take the blame for the horrific crash. When he refused, they kidnapped him and continued to pressure him to confess.

Additionally, there were irregularities in the 17-year-old’s medical examination at the state-run Sassoon Hospital. In response, the Maharashtra Medical Education department appointed a three-member committee, headed by Dr. Pallavi Sapale, dean of Mumbai-based Grant Medical College, to investigate the matter.
