A 35-year-old tailor was allegedly shot dead at his rented house in Pune, Maharashtra, by an unidentified assailant in the wee hours of Monday.
The victim, identified as Anil Sahu, had migrated from Bihar to Pune with his wife for work and was residing at a rented apartment in Khadakmal Ali of Ghorpade Peth, as reported by the Indian Express.

According to senior police inspector Sunil Mane, Sahu was employed as a tailor at a textile company in Pune. The police said the murder took place at around 2 am and the assailant escaped from the spot immediately.
A murder case has been registered at the Khadak police station and a probe has been launched to identify and arrest the killer.
