Polish tennis player Kamil Majchrzak recently met the young fan who never received his signed cap. After defeating ninth seed Karen Khachanov, Majchrzak went into the crowd to hand a signed cap to a boy. However, the child never got the chance to touch it, as Polish company CEO Piotr Szczerek snatched it and quickly handed it to his partner, who tucked it into her bag.

A video of the same quickly went viral on social media, with people slamming the CEO. There were even boycott calls for him, with people demanding that he be banned from watching the future matches of the US Open.

It shows Majchrzak signing tennis balls for fans in the stands before attempting to give his cap to a young boy holding a large ball covered in autographs. Suddenly, the cap is snatched by the CEO, leaving the boy empty-handed.

After he became aware that the cap never reached the boy and was stolen by someone, he turned to Instagram to help him find the young boy. He wrote on his Instagram: “After the match, I didn’t record that my cap didn’t get to the boy… Could you help me find the kid from my match?”

He took to his Instagram Story to share a heartwarming update with his fans, followers, and those on the Internet rooting for the young kid to get the cap. The video, which is from the US Open Tennis Championships, carries the caption, “Today, after warm up, I had a nice meeting. Do you recognise?” He completed these words with a cap emoticon. 

The video opens to show Majchrzak meeting two children, including the boy whose cap had been taken. He personally handed the signed cap to the boy, who then wore it. They then posed for photos together.

In another Story, he posed with the young kid, who is seen wearing his signed cap. They are both all smiles in the picture. In the caption, he wrote, “Hello World. Together with Brock, we wish you a great day!”
