Prime Minister Narendra Modi begins a two-day visit to Gujarat on Wednesday, marking a significant series of events and inaugurations in Narmada district. At Ekta Nagar, he will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for infrastructural and development projects valued at over Rs 280 crore, aiming to boost tourism, accessibility, and sustainability in the region.

A central feature of the visit will be PM Modi’s address to Officer Trainees of the 99th Common Foundation Course at the Aarambh 6.0 event. The theme for this year’s course, “Roadmap for Aatmanirbhar and Viksit Bharat”, aligns with the nation’s focus on self-reliance and development. The course includes 653 trainees from 16 Indian civil services and three civil services from Bhutan.

On October 31, the Prime Minister will honor Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by offering a floral tribute at the Statue of Unity. This tribute will kick off the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations. Modi will administer the Unity Pledge, followed by witnessing the Ekta Diwas Parade. This parade features 16 contingents from nine states, a Hell March by NSG, a daring biker display by BSF and CRPF personnel, a martial arts performance, a school band, and an IAF ‘Surya Kiran’ flypast.
