In a powerful address to the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that every terrorist and terror outfit now knows the consequences of attempting to wipe the vermilion (sindoor) from the foreheads of our sisters and daughters. This powerful statement followed the success of Operation Sindoor, launched in response to the terrorist attack on civilians in Pahalgam on April 22.

Operation Sindoor, executed by the Indian armed forces, targeted terrorist camps and training centers across the border in Pakistan. Modi hailed the mission as a bold, decisive response to the brutal killings, where innocent civilians, including women and children, were mercilessly killed in an act meant to destabilize India’s social harmony.

“The attack in Pahalgam was a horrifying attempt to break our unity, but the response was equally firm,” said Modi.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the strikes, carried out by India’s armed forces, eliminated over 100 terrorists, including several masterminds responsible for attacks on Indian soil and worldwide. He also highlighted the precision of India’s military equipment, with the strikes dismantling terror hubs in Pakistan that have long been linked to global terrorism.

Modi called out Pakistan for its reaction, accusing it of recklessness after its military attacked civilian and military targets in India. However, he noted that Pakistan’s missiles and drones were neutralized by India’s advanced air defense systems, further proving India’s superiority in modern warfare.

“We’ve sent a message: India will no longer tolerate terrorist threats. We will respond with full force, wherever necessary,” Modi stated, reiterating that the country’s new counter-terrorism approach leaves no room for negotiations with state-sponsored terrorism.

The Prime Minister also sent a direct message to the global community, making it clear that any future talks with Pakistan would focus solely on addressing terrorism and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). He concluded by stressing that peace can only be achieved through strength, and India’s resolve in defending its sovereignty will remain unshaken.
