The flag, a right-angled triangular banner measuring ten feet high and twenty feet long, features the radiant Sun symbol representing the brilliance and valour of Bhagwan Shri Ram. It also carries an ‘Om’ and the image of the Kovidara tree. The saffron dhwaj stands as a symbol of dignity, unity, and cultural continuity, reflecting the ideals of Ram Rajya.

The event is attended by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The ceremony aims to highlight social equality, with representatives from Dalit, transgender and other communities taking part.

Massive security arrangements in place 

Security has been tightened across Ayodhya ahead of the PM’s arrival. Under the direction of CM Yogi, a heavy security cover has been put in place to maintain strict law and order. Nearly 6,970 security personnel have been deployed, including ATS commandos, NSG snipers, cyber teams and technical experts. Anti-drone systems and advanced surveillance equipment are also active in and around the temple complex.

PM Modi offers prayers at several other temples

Prime Minister Modi also visited several other temples within the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi premises. 

These include temples dedicated to Maharshi Vashishtha, Maharshi Vishwamitra, Maharshi Agastya, Maharshi Valmiki, Devi Ahilya, Nishadraj Guha, and Mata Shabari, all built after the consecration of the main temple.
