A day after visiting security forces in Srinagar, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday arrived at the Bhuj Air Force Station in Gujarat, where he interacted with Indian Air Force personnel and lauded the role of the armed forces in Operation Sindoor. During his address, Singh issued a stern warning, stating that Pakistan has again started trying to rebuild the terror infrastructure that was destroyed during the operation.
Operation Sindoor, described by Singh as a successful military campaign, has received international recognition for its precision and effectiveness. “Our armed forces not only dominated the enemy but succeeded in decimating them,” he said, adding that the Indian Air Force spearheaded the campaign and demonstrated the country’s expanding strategic capabilities.
In a pointed remark, the Defence Minister asserted, “It is not a small matter that our Air Force has the capability to reach every corner of Pakistan. This has been proven during Op Sindoor.” He also claimed that many Pakistani air bases and nine terrorist hideouts were destroyed during the operation.
Singh went on to say that even Pakistan has acknowledged the power of India’s BrahMos missile. “India’s war policy and technology have changed. Weapons and arms made in India have now become a part of our military strength,” he said.
He strongly criticized any form of international financial assistance to Pakistan, calling it “nothing less than terror funding” in today’s context. “You have conveyed the message of a new India to the world,” Singh told the personnel.
The Defence Minister’s remarks come amid rising concerns about cross-border terrorism and reinforce India’s stand on national security and self-reliance in defence manufacturing.
