Delhi bomb threat: Multiple courts in Delhi received bomb threat calls and emails on Tuesday, prompting heightened security and intensive checks across the city. Delhi Police told news agency IANS that threat calls were made to Saket Court, Patiala House Court and Rohini Court, following which investigations were launched and security was tightened at all three locations.

All three court complexes were vacated immediately and security arrangements were strengthened, with teams deployed for precautionary checks. The Bomb Disposal Squad is currently scanning the Saket Court premises.

Advocate Anil Basoya, Honorary Secretary of the Saket District Court Bar Association, issued a notice announcing a temporary suspension of court proceedings. Basoya informed members that court work would remain halted for two hours due to a security-related issue. He added that proceedings would continue only after officials give clearance following the security checks, according to a report by The Indian Express.

“R/Member, court work is suspended for next 2 hrs due to a security issue. Proceedings resume after lunch once cleared. Stay calm, cooperate & avoid crowding,” the notice reads.

Bomb threat for two CRPF schools in Delhi

In a separate incident the same morning, two CRPF schools in Prashant Vihar and Dwarka received bomb threat emails around 9 am. The threats were later confirmed as hoaxes, according to a PTI report. 

“We checked both the schools thoroughly and nothing suspicious was found. It was declared a hoax,” a senior police officer told PTI.

According to Delhi Fire Services, teams were rushed to the schools immediately after the alerts.
