The India Meteorological Department has warned that isolated extremely intense rainfall is likely to occur in Uttarakhand on September 13. On the contrary, light showers are expected in Delhi, East Rajasthan, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, and East Uttar Pradesh for today.

Weather forecast for Northwest India

The IMD has predicted that moderate downpours are likely to occur over West Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Heavy rainfall is expected from Sept 13 to Sept 17 in East Uttar Pradesh.

Heavy rainfall warning for Western and Central India

Isolated very intense showers are likely to occur in West Madhya Pradesh on Sept 13, 17, and 18. East Madhya Pradesh is forecast to have it from Sept 13 to Sept 18. Chhattisgarh might receive isolated heavy rains from Sept 15 to Sept 17.

Weather alert for Southern India

The Met Department has alerted that there would be fairly widespread to moderate downpours for this week in Yanam, Coastal Karnataka, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Likewise, Kerala, Mahe, and Lakshadweep are projected to witness an average rainfall on Sept 13. Isolated to scattered rainfall is expected in Karaikal, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Interior Karnataka, and Rayalaseema for this week.

Monsoon forecast for Northeast and Eastern India

The northeast region like Meghalaya and Assam is predicted to get isolated intense rainfall for the next seven days. Additionally, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, and Tripura are predicted to get it on Sept 13 and heavy showers are also projected to take place in these places from Sept 13 to Sep 17. Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal are likely to receive it on Sept 13 and Sept 14. Bihar is expected to witness it from Sept 12 to Sept 16.
