A massive fire broke out at the Lotus Boulevard Society in Sector 100, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday morning, reportedly following an air conditioner blast.
Visuals showed dark clouds of smoke billowing from a flat in the high-rise society.
No injuries or casualties have been reported so far. Reportedly, flames from an air conditioner blast engulfed the entire flat, however, the exact cause is yet to be ascertained.
This incident comes as the Delhi-NCR region is grappling with severe heatwave and rising temperatures. Several other fire incidents have also been reported in the recent days. A few days back, fire at a children’s hospital in Delhi resulted in the death of at least seven infants and injuries to several others.
