Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024: Maharashtra went to polls for 288 constituencies on November 20. The polling will continue till 6 pm. Maharashtra Elections 2024: ECI Results Date and Time
The ECI will announce the results for Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 on November 23. The Election Commission will begin the counting of votes at 8:00 am. The results for all constituencies will be out as the day progresses at results.eci.gov.in.

As of October 30, the Election Commission reported that Maharashtra had a total of 9.7 crore registered voters, including 5 crore men, 4.69 crore women, and 6,101 transgenders. Among these, 6.41 lakh are Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and 1.16 lakh are service voters from the armed forces. To accommodate the expanded voter base, more than one lakh polling stations have been established, an increase from 96,654 in 2019.
According to the ECI data, Mumbai city has seen an increase of 53,372 registered voters, while the suburbs have gained 2,47,715 new voters. The total voter count in Mumbai now stands at 1.02 crore, with 54.67 lakh male voters and 47.62 lakh female voters. The data also indicates a slight rise in the number of transgender voters, from 1,036 in the Lok Sabha elections to 1,082 in the upcoming assembly elections. As Mumbai prepares to vote on November 20, the registered voter percentage stands at 50.45% for the island city and 51.7% for the suburban areas.
