Four people from Rajasthan were killed and six others injured when their SUV collided with a truck in Vidisha district, Madhya Pradesh, early Saturday morning, according to police reports. The accident occurred around 4 a.m. on the Biaora-Bina highway under the jurisdiction of the Lateri police station.
The group of ten, which included seven women, was returning to Jhalawar, Rajasthan, from a pilgrimage to Bageshwar Dham when their SUV crashed into a truck. The deceased have been identified as Kishanlal Lodha (60), Vinod Kumar Mali (34), Vardi Bai Lodha (70), and Rajbai Bheel (48).
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed his sorrow over the tragedy. In a statement on X, Yadav said, “We have received saddening news about the deaths of four individuals from Jhalawar district in a road accident while they were returning from Bageshwar Dham. The district administration has been directed to ensure that the seriously injured receive proper medical treatment.” He also assured that the state government would provide financial assistance to the victims’ families and stand by them during this difficult time.
