The Lok Sabha Election 2024 is scheduled to commence nationwide on April 19 and will run until June 4.
The citizens of India need to have more than mere possession of a Voter ID card to possess the power of electing the next government for 5 years as this alone does not guarantee the ability to cast a vote, as the electoral roll undergoes periodic updates.
Occasionally, individuals find their names missing or removed from the list due to various reasons. Therefore, it is crucial to verify your inclusion in the electoral roll before the elections, and here’s how you can do it online:

- EPIC Number
- Name
- Age
- Date of Birth
- District
- Assembly Constituency
Steps to check your name in the Electoral Roll:
- Visit the ‘Voters’ Service Portal’ by accessing electoralsearch.eci.gov.in on your phone, PC, or laptop using any web browser.
- Choose from the available search options: Search by Details: Enter necessary details such as Name, Surname, Date of Birth, etc. Then enter the CAPTCHA and click the ‘Search’ button.
- Search by EPIC: Select language, enter the EPIC Number (found on the Voter ID), choose the state, input the CAPTCHA, and click on the ‘Search’ button.
- Search by Mobile: Choose the State and language, then enter the mobile number registered with the Voter ID, input the CAPTCHA, and click the ‘Search’ button.
