BookMyShow announced on X, formerly Twitter, that the entire amount of the canceled tour tickets will be refunded to the accounts of the customers.

Shubh rose to fame in 2021 with his song “We Rollin” and later gave hits like “Cheques”, “Elevated” and “OG”. Shubhneet Singh was scheduled to be on tour in India between September 23-25. He was to perform in New Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

He was trolled after he had shared a picture on his Instagram story which had a distorted map of India. Shubh was dragged into the controversy after which boAt had withdrawn its sponsorship for his tour.

With the ongoing Canada-India dispute, India had expelled a senior Canadian diplomat and gave him five days to leave the country. Amidst all this going on, Shubh’s instagram story had sparked a row among the netizens calling him out for his pro-khalistan views.

His promotional posters of his concert was also taken off by the youth wing of the BJP, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). The BJYP strongly opposes any space for ‘Khalistan’ supporters in the country.

Shubh lost celeb followers such as Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya. The comment section of his Instagram account is filled with hatred and negative comments from anti-khalistan people.
