The Kshatriya Karni Sena has allegedly announced a reward of Rs 1,11,11,111 for the encounter of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, whose gang recently took responsibility for the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique in Mumbai.
Karni Sena national president Raj Shekhawat, in a video statement, said the bounty would be awarded to any police officer who kills Bishnoi, according to a Navbharat Times report.
Shekhawat’s statement follows his criticism of the central and state governments over Bishnoi’s continued operations from jail. He also linked Bishnoi to the December 2023 murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the former Karni Sena chief.
Shekhawat said gangsters like Bishnoi have created an atmosphere of fear across the country.

Bishnoi, currently lodged in Gujarat’s Sabarmati Jail, is at the center of the investigation into Siddique’s murder on Dussehra in Mumbai’s Bandra. The next day, Bishnoi’s gang claimed responsibility in a Facebook post. Fifteen teams from the Mumbai Crime Branch are probing the case, with 10 suspects, including two shooters, already arrested.
Bishnoi’s gang has also been linked to other high-profile crimes, including the murder of Khalistani sympathizer Sukha Duneke in September and shootings outside the homes of AP Dhillon and Gippy Grewal in Canada. The gang reportedly targeted Siddique for his alleged connections to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and his close ties to Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
Khan, who has been repeatedly threatened by Bishnoi, remains under heightened security following Siddique’s murder.
