In a nearly three-hour conversation with AI researcher and podcaster Lex Fridman, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his perspectives on leadership, diplomacy, and global challenges. The episode, released Sunday evening, marks his second podcast appearance this year, following his discussion with Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath in January.

Modi voiced concerns over rising geopolitical tensions, citing conflicts in Ukraine, the Middle East and strained US-China relations. “Covid exposed the limitations of every nation. Instead of learning from it, the world has become more fragmented,” he noted. Criticising global institutions like the UN, Modi remarked, “International organisations that were once powerful have become almost irrelevant. Institutions like UN are failing to fulfill their roles.”

Advocating for peace and collaboration, he stressed, “The world is interdependent. No nation can stand alone. The only way forward is peace and development.” His remarks underscored the need for international cooperation over expansionist ambitions.
