India’s business tycoon Gautam Adani has become the 20th richest person in the world, despite being a first-generation entrepreneur. Adani’s net worth has increased by $1.72 billion on Monday, reaching $82.3 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
This development has created a buzz as a single-day increase in Adani’s net worth is more than the trade between Pakistan and Turkey in 2024. However, both countries have discussed increasing the trade to $5 billion after the Operation Sindoor and the call for a trade boycott with Turkey.
Notably, Pakistan and Turkey, both countries, are increasingly working to have stronger relations. Recep Tayyip Erdogan president of Turkey, recently congratulated Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Asim Munir, on his promotion. Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister of Pakistan, visited Turkey on Sunday and praised their support against India during his trip.
The Index also highlights that the wealth of Asia and India’s richest individuals grew by $13 billion for this year. According to the World Economic Outlook report by the International Monetary Fund India has become the fourth largest economy in the world.
