The Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) and Azad Samaj Party (ASP) alliance announced their sixth list of candidates for the Haryana assembly elections on Thursday.

The list includes a total of 13 candidates, with nine from the JJP and four from the ASP.

The JJP’s candidates are as follows: Jitendra Royal for Karnal, Ravindra Minna for Panipat City, Ramesh Khatak for Kharkhoda, Santosh Danoda for Narwana, Rohtash Kandul for Uklana, Yogesh Gautam for Narnaund, Alka Arya for Loharu, Engineer Omprakash for Nangal Chaudhary, and Parwinder Singh for Badkhal.

Meanwhile, the ASP has named Jugunu Mehra for Bhiwani, Balwan Singh for Bahadurgarh, Shashi Kumar for Mahendragarh, and Surendra Yadav for Badshahpur. So far, the alliance has declared candidates for 77 of the 90 seats, with the JJP nominating 61 of these candidates. The deadline for filing nominations is Thursday.

Earlier this week, the alliance announced 34 candidates on Wednesday, following the release of their first list of 19 candidates on September 4. Notably, former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala is contesting from Uchana Kalan, and his brother, Digvijay Singh Chautala, is also on the list.

The JJP, led by Ajay Singh Chautala, and the Azad Samaj Party, headed by Chandra Shekhar Azad, recently formalised their alliance. The JJP will contest 70 seats, while the ASP will take on the remaining 2.

The parties have also agreed to support former minister Ranjit Singh Chautala for the Rania seat, following his exit from the BJP after being denied a ticket.
