The Gurugram police have booked gangster Anmol Bishnoi, brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, for allegedly threatening Bhim Sena chief Satpal Tanwar from abroad, an officer said on Sunday.

Anmol is accused of making threatening calls from the US and Canada using phone numbers from Zimbabwe and Kenya, PTI reported.

In response to the complaint, the police have formed a team comprising members of the Special Task Force and various crime and cybercrime units to investigate the matter.

As per the complaint, Tanwar received multiple calls from Anmol Bishnoi on October 30, during which he threatened to cut him into pieces. The total duration of the phone calls was 6 minutes and 41 seconds, and they were answered by Tanwar’s female secretary.

Police registered a case against Anmol Bishnoi under sections of the BNS at Sector 37 Police Station on Saturday.

According to PTI report, he is currently hiding in the US and has a reward of ₹10 lakh on information leading to his capture, as announced by the National Investigation Agency.
