Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav has reportedly filed an FIR after getting an extortion call. Latest reports say that the Gurugram Police has arrested a man for allegedly making the extortion call. The accused has been identified as Shakir Makrani, a resident of Vadnagar, Gujarat according to Varun Dahiya ACP Crime Branch. He said, “Gurugram Police with cooperation from Gujarat Police has arrested one Shakir Makrani, a resident of Vadnagar. He was influenced by Yadav; to earn money he made this plan to make extortion call.”

In his FIR, Elvish Yadav has said that the caller demanded Rs 1 crore from him. The famous YouTuber and social media influence had complained to the police recently. Yadav has been in the news after winning Bigg Boss OTT 2 reality show. After his win, he was felicitated by none other than Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar at a mega show.  

As per reports, Elvish Yadav had reported the extortion call to Gurugram Police on October 25 stating about an anonymous call that had been demanding 1 crore rupees. Elvish hasn’t released a statement on the phone call or the incident yet.

Before coming to Bigg Boss, Elvish Yadav had a great support from his YouTube fans where h e runs a channel by the name of ‘TheSocialFactory’ that currently has 14. 5 million subscribers. Moreover, he has a huge presence on Instagram with 15.7 million of total followers. Along with his personal identity on social media platforms, he also runs two Instagram business pages. One is a music page, ‘playdmfharyanvi’ with 26.2k followers and the other is ‘systummclothingg’, a clothing line with 102k followers.
