Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023 Exit Poll: Rajasthan is one of the states that conducted assembly elections in 2023 on November 23 with a total turnout of 74.13%. The vote casting started in the early morning at 7 am until 6 pm for 200 assembly seats. As per reports, areas like Fatehpur Shekhawati in Sikar reported stone pelting that caused some major issues.

The counting of votes will begin on December 3, Sunday, according to the Election Commission of India’s official timetable. ECI will declare the results of all five states that had assembly elections on the same day: Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Mizoram.

According to the official notice issued by the Election Commission, the exit polls in Rajasthan can only begin after voting has been completed in each of the five states. Chhattisgarh, on the other hand, held the assembly elections in two stages, on November 7 and November 17.

What are exit polls?

Private organizations conduct exit polls to anticipate election outcomes before the official announcement by asking respondents who they voted for as they leave voting places. Exit polls work on the premise that if you ask a voter right outside the polling booth, their memory is fresh and they are more likely to tell you the truth. It is not the same as a pre-election poll. Exit polls have been proven incorrect in a number of situations, but they remain extremely popular in India.
