The Election Commission declared the Lok Sabha Election Result 2024 and with that came BJP-led NDA’s failure to cross the 400-mark. The results rained on the parade that the NDA supporters had been waiting for. While the NDA is forming the government, the performance by the INDIA bloc has left those who opposed the NDA satisfied.
With this result, the social media has been flooded with reaction videos, articles, posts and of course, memes.
One such reaction video which surfaced apparently shows a BJP supporter trying to smash his television on the ground after the NDA failed to cross the 400 seats target.
The video is from Agra, Uttar Pradesh, featuring Govind Parashar, the president of the Rashtriya Hindu Parishad (Bharat). In the footage, he is seen monitoring real-time vote count updates before abruptly smashing the TV on the floor. He then picks it up and stomps on it three times to break it completely, while others around him attempt to intervene.
The caption of the video read, “When BJP failed to get 400 seats, the President of Rashtriya Hindu Parishad (India), Govind Parashar staged a drama of breaking a TV.”
People were quick to react to the video with some saying that the TV he broke was different from the one he was actually watching.
A user wrote, “BJP people always consider the public to be fools. They have broken the bad TV while the good one is still working.”
