ECI Bihar Election Result 2025 Live: No re-polls requested this year, EC says zero appeals

The Election Commission of India on Thursday praised the smooth conduct of the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections, which saw a record voter turnout of 67.13 percent — the highest in the state’s history since 1951. The Commission said that not a single repoll was needed in any of Bihar’s 38 districts.

As per the ECI’s statement, 2,616 candidates and 12 recognised political parties took part in the two-phase elections held on November 6 and 11. None of them requested repolling in any seat. The Commission also noted that there were no appeals filed during the scrutiny process, with more than 7.45 crore voters listed in the final electoral roll.
