The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its latest weather forecast said that a western disturbance is affecting the national capital, causing partially cloudy skies. The IMD has also forecast isolated drizzles in parts of the city on Wednesday and Thursday.
“There is a chance of light rain or drizzle in some areas of Delhi NCR,” said an IMD official.
IMD has forecasted light rainfall or drizzle at several locations across Delhi, including areas like Rohini, Badli, Pitampura, Mundka, Paschim Vihar, Punjabi Bagh, Rajouri Garden, Buddha Jayanti Park, Jafarpur, Najafgarh, Dwarka, Delhi Cantt, Palam, Vasant Vihar, Vasant Kunj, and parts of the National Capital Region (NCR).

Delhi woke up to a cloudy and gloomy morning on Tuesday, with the minimum temperature slightly rising to 13.2 degrees Celsius, which is two degrees above normal. However, the air quality continued to remain in the ‘poor’ category.
The maximum temperature in Delhi on Monday was 29 degrees Celsius and is expected to remain between 27 degrees Celsius and 29 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. The minimum temperature on Monday was recorded at 11.2 degrees Celsius.
Light rain in Jaipur, other parts of Rajasthan
Meanwhile, light rain was reported in several parts of Rajasthan, including Jaipur, on Tuesday, as a fresh western disturbance influenced the region, according to the Meteorological Department. The Met Department predicted that due to the ongoing western disturbance, cloudy weather and light rain or drizzle will continue in parts of western and northern Rajasthan from February 18 to 20.
There is a possibility of light rain in areas such as Bharatpur, Jaipur, and Bikaner later in the day. On Wednesday and Thursday, light rain may also affect Bharatpur, Jaipur, Kota, Bikaner, and Jodhpur.
