Delhi on Tuesday (August 20) woke up to a refreshing change in weather as heavy rains swept across various parts of the national capital and nearby regions. The downpours have led to reports of several inundated roads. Parts of Noida and Ghaziabad also received heavy showers today morning. 

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted light to moderate rainfall throughout Delhi and the NCR region, including areas such as Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Bahadurgarh, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, Manesar, and Ballabhgarh.

Similar weather conditions are expected in nearby regions of UP and Haryana, including Gohana, Gannaur, Meham, Sonipat, Rohtak, Kharkhoda, Charkhi Dadri, Mattanhail, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Mahendargarh, Sohana, Rewari, Palwal, Nuh, Baraut, Bagpat, Khekra, Modinagar, Pilakhua, Hapur, and Bhiwari.

The maximum and minimum temperatures in the national capital are likely to hover around 36 and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively. As per the IMD forecast, scattered showers are expected across the national capital region for the rest of the week.
