On Wednesday, the Delhi Police announced upcoming traffic restrictions near Delhi Technological University (DTU) for two days starting Thursday. These measures are due to a training program linked to the Lok Sabha elections.
To facilitate smooth traffic flow and minimise disruption, commuters are urged to plan their journeys ahead of time.
Officials stated that a training program concerning the Lok Sabha elections, covering all seven constituencies in Delhi, is slated for Thursday and Friday at DTU in Shahbad Daulatpur.
As a result, traffic restrictions will be in place in the area from 7 am to 7 pm on Thursday and Friday, according to officials.
Police stated that commuters travelling from the Shahbad Dairy side to DTU/Samaypur Badli Metro Station should use St. Xavier’s red light and KN Katju Marg.
Commuters heading from Samaypur Badli Metro/Rohini Sector-18 and 19 to Shahbad Dairy should take Rohini Sector-16 to reach KN Katju Marg. They are also advised to heed the directions of deployed traffic police personnel to prevent inconvenience.
