Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Wednesday came out all guns blazing against the Congress party. He alleged that the grand old party has never thought beyond one family (Gandhi family).
Sharpening his attack, he said that for Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra only her family is important. The union minister also did not miss a chance to praise Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“For Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the entire country is his family. However, for Priyanka Gandhi only her mother, father, and grandmother are her family,” said Thakur while addressing a press conference.
He said that during the last 10 years, India has witnessed Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.
“Tell me one single incident where based on religion, caste, or region, discrimination is done with anyone,” the minister stressed.
While replying to a question on Sanatan Dharma, Thakur alleged that the opposition wants to destroy “Sanatan Dharma”.
“Mughals, Britishers came and went… Sanatan Dharma was, is, and will remain,” the minister said.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Lok Sabha Election 2024 is going on, and as a result of polls, the political environment in the country has charged up with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress party escalating political attacks and counterattacks on each other.
