Chapra Bihar Election Result 2025: The Chapra Assembly election is part of the ongoing 2025 Bihar Legislative Assembly elections, a key contest in the Saran district. The current election is primarily a close race between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), with the BJP candidate currently leading.

Following the completion of the tenth round of vote counting in the high-stakes Chapra constituency battle, Bhartiya Janta Party’s (BJP) Chhoti Kumari has tightened her grip on the top spot with 31204 votes, meanwhile RJD’s top candidate Khesari Lal Yadav follows behind, with 29513 votes.

Prashant Kishor led Jan Suraj party candidate Jai Prakash Singh ranks third with 1393 votes to his name. The Chapra seat, located in Saran district is a general category constituency and a key component of Saran Lok Sabha seat.

The seat had been previously held by BJP for two consecutive terms, represented by Dr C N Gupta, who retained the seat in 2020 assembly election by defeating RJD’s candidate Randhir Kumar Singh.

The constituency has approximately 2.89 to 3.40 lakh voters. While it has historically been influenced by Rajput and Yadav communities, the Vaishya population (around 65,000 voters) is currently the largest single community and a decisive factor in the election.

The election is a high-stakes battle, with early trends showing a neck-and-neck fight. The vote counting is in progress, and the final result will determine if the BJP can maintain its stronghold or if the RJD candidate’s celebrity appeal has swayed the results.
