After Muzaffarpur, he will have a program in Chhapra at around 1 pm, and after these two events, his programs will continue in November. For now, the Prime Minister is coming to Bihar on October 30 for events in Muzaffarpur and Chhapra.”

The Prime Minister kick-started his election campaign for the high-stakes Bihar Assembly elections on Friday, stressing that the NDA will return to power in the state.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi kicked off his election campaign from socialist leader Karpoori Thakur, addressing two rallies in Samastipur and Begusarai. He thanked people for attending his rallies in huge numbers at a time when the state is celebrating Chhath. PM Modi took a swipe at the Mahagathbandhan and said that his government transformed “jungle raj” into good governance.

“You all are getting benefits of the ‘GST Bachat Utsav’…. I thank you all for coming here in large numbers. Ab nayi raftar se chalega Bihar jab phir aayegi NDA sarkar,” PM Modi said.

PM Modi remembers Karpoori Thakur in Samstipur rally speech

After paying tribute to Bihar’s socialist leader Karpoori Thakur, the Prime Minister didn’t forget to mention him in his speech. He said that NDA will follow in the great leader’s footsteps when elected to power in the upcoming Bihar Assembly Election 2025. Earlier, he took to X and wished the people of the poll-bound state on the occasion of Chhath and also urged them to share puja related songs with him. PM Modi will hold another rally in Begusarai at 2 PM.

PM Modi launches strong attack against Opposition

During his virtual interaction, Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly criticised the Opposition, calling their alliance a “Lathbandhan”. He accused them of putting “self-interest” above everything else and said they “don’t care about the youth of Bihar”.

“Those who call themselves the ‘Gathbandhan,’ whom the people of Bihar call the ‘Lathbandhan,’ only know how to use the lathi and keep fighting. For the ‘Lathbandhan,’ their own self-interest is paramount. They don’t care about the youth of Bihar,” PM Modi said. He further added that the people and youth of Bihar has suffered for decades from Naxalism and Maoist terror and that the Opposition “kept winning elections with the help of Maoist terror.” He said that Naxalism and Maoist terror had a big part in destroying Bihar.
