PM Modi Rally in Bihar | Bihar Election 2025 Live Update: The last leg of campaigning for the Bihar election 2025 will begin today with leaders of key parties hitting the ground for two more days before the silence period kicks in. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge addressed a host of public rallies across the state on Monday.

The PM addressed public rallies in Saharsa and in Katihar districts, while Kharge launched attack on the NDA government during a public address in Vaishali. Amit Shah made several key announcements including development of Mithilanchal in rallies in Sheohar, Sitamarhi and Madhubani during the day.

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra targeted PM Modi and NDA in her two poll rallies at Sonbarsa and Lakhisarai. She said the ruling alliance does not need Nitish Kumar, but they need his “vote bank”. She later also held a roadshow at Rosera.

PM Modi roars in Patna

Previously, the Prime Minister held a mega roadshow in Patna on last week, besides addressing back-to-back rallies in Bhojpur and Nawada districts.

He claimed the Congress had been unwilling to accept Tejashwi Yadav as the INDIA bloc’s Chief Ministerial and relented only after the RJD pointed a “katta”, an unlicensed gun, at its head. “The Congress never wanted to announce the chief ministerial candidate in favour of the RJD. The RJD secured it by placing a katta on the head of the Congress. They have learnt their lessons in the school of jungle raj. Such elements can never do good for Bihar,” he alleged.

“The crown prince of jungle raj has been wary that the Voter Adhikar Yatra of the other yuvraj may be denting his own prospects. Hence, the RJD has put up its candidate against the state president of the Congress. Let the polls be over. The two allies will be breaking each other’s heads,” the PM added, without naming Rahul Gandhi or Tejashwi Yadav.

Congress claims PM always ready for campaigns as if it’s ‘his son’s wedding’

Union Minister Giriraj Singh meanwhile hit back at Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s “bete ki shaadi” remark on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s campaign in Bihar.

Responding to Kharge’s comments, Singh said on X, “Kharge ji, if the Congress Yuvaraj’s marriage ever happens, we will definitely come to it.”

Kharge, during an election rally on Monday, criticised PM Modi for being always on the move for elections, from panchayat to Lok Sabha polls, as if it were his son’s wedding. “Narendra Modi is roaming around in Bihar as if it’s his son’s wedding. From panchayat elections to parliamentary elections, it’s Modi who roams around; every time, only his face is visible. Hey.. how many times will people vote just by seeing Modi’s face,” Kharge said.
