Bihar Election 2025: Chirag Paswan’s LJP(RV) releases candidate list, names 14 candidates

Bihar assembly election: After the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal (United) (JDU), the LJP (RV) on Wednesday released its first list of candidates for 14 assembly seats in Bihar. The party, led by Union Minister Chirag Paswan, is contesting polls on 29 seats as part of the NDA’ seat-sharing deal.

The BJP was the first party of the NDA bloc to release the list of candidates and so far, it has released two lists of 86 candidates. Both BJP and JDU are fighting elections on 101 seats each, while HAM and RLM have been allotted six seats each.

Sharing a post on X, the LJP (RV) party said, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the candidates announced for the Bihar Legislative Election-2025 under the guidance and direction of the National President of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) and Honorable Union Minister Shri @iChiragPaswan ji.”

“We have full confidence that all of you will ensure your significant contribution to realizing the dreams of “Bihar First-Bihari First” and to the all-round development of Bihar. With your dedication and the support of the people, a historic and resounding victory for the double-engine NDA government in the Bihar Legislative Election is certain,” the party added.

The 243-seat Bihar assembly goes to polls on Nov 6 and 11, with counting of votes scheduled for Nov 14.
