The swearing-in ceremony of Bhajanlal Sharma, the chief minister-designate in Rajasthan and his deputies will take place on December 15, outside Albert Hall in Jaipur, at 11:15 AM, BJP’s Rajasthan unit chief CP Joshi announced on Wednesday.

The ceremony is expected to witness the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, sources within the party revealed. Invitations have also been extended to senior leaders and chief ministers from various states.

After days of suspense, the BJP on Tuesday announced Bhajanlal Sharma, a first-time MLA from the Sanganer assembly constituency as the chief minister of Rajasthan.

Diya Kumari, representing Vidhyadhar Nagar, and Prem Chand Bairwa, representing Dadu, were announced as the party’s picks for Deputy Chief Ministers. Ajmer North MLA Vasudev Devnani has been chosen to assume the role of the Speaker of the Assembly.
