A shopkeeper was dragged and brutally thrashed by a group of 3-4 men on Sunday evening for allegedly playing loud music during ‘Azaan’ time near Siddana Layout in Karnataka’s Bengaluru.

A CCTV video of the incident is doing rounds on social media, which shows the men coming to the shop one by one. An argument soon ensues, after which one of the men is seen grabbing the shopkeeper by his collar, prompting the latter to hit him back.

A second man also hits the shopkeeper, after which he gets out of the shop. The fight gets violent, with the men taking turns beating the shopkeeper and also proceeding to drag and kick him.

After the physical assault stops, the men disperse and the shopkeeper returns to the shop with a bloodied mouth.

According to the Bengaluru Police, an FIR has been registered at Halasuru Gate Police Limit, and the police are working to arrest the accused, ANI reported.

The accused have been identified as Suleman, Shahnavaz, Rohith, Dyanish, and Taruna, India Today reported.
