Security arrangements were heightened around Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir complex after it received a bomb threat email on Monday night. Security measures were also heightened around the city, Barabanki and neighbouring districts. An FIR has been lodged in the case and the cyber cell is investigating the threat email that was sent to the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust.
Security agencies are currently probing the credibility of a threatening email, while both central and state authorities have been placed on high alert to ensure public safety and prevent any potential incident.
The Ram Mandir has become Uttar Pradesh’s top tourist destination in 2024, drawing an astonishing 135.5 million domestic visitors and surpassing even the Taj Mahal in footfall.
