AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday alleged Narendra Modi-led central government of partiality in dispensing cash at minority dominated areas. Owaisi, in a rally held at Hyderabad, said that Government hasn’t dispersed cash in these areas. He added that Muslim community is being unnecessarily troubled by Government through demonetisation, Jagran.com reported on Monday. The Government, however, hit back at the leader saying that ATMs don’t see religion before dispensing cash.

Earlier, the Hyderabad MP had called Modi “a tyrant” who has caused havoc in every house to satisfy his ego. Attacking Modi, Owaisi said the revolution which he was dreaming to bring about with the November 8 demonetization would never be achieved as the move has pushed people into distress.

He alleged PM Modi of destroying the livelihood of the poor and deprived sections. “Will a fakir wear Rs 15 lakh suit? What kind of fakir you are who wears new clothes and new shawl with new style every day, who wants to inconvenience the poor for 50 days and who is not worried over the loss of 120 lives. You are not fakir, you are zalim (tyrant),” thundered Owaisi.

The Hyderabad lawmaker added that Modi caused distress to every family at a time when there were good rains after two years and the marriage season had just started.  “He sometimes laughs, sometimes cries. He doesn’t know what he is doing. He says there is threat to his life. We only pray that he live for 150 years,” the AIMIM chief said.

Calling the crisis hour an opportunity for Muslims, he urged people to ensure that no one in their neighborhood, irrespective of his religion or caste, goes hungry.
