Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari said that one can sense the amalgamation of nature’s beauty and the presence of industrial powers at the Ahmedabad-Vadodra Expressway. This expressway plays a crucial role in connecting commercial hubs with Gujarat.
Union minister took it to his social media account and said,’’ On Ahmedabad -Vadodara Expressway, experience the seamless combination of natural beauty and industrial prowess. This National Expressway 1 which connects Gujarat with all industrial hubs not only eases transportability but also provides spectacular scenic beauty throughout the journey.’’
Vadodra-Bharuch section of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Vadodra-Bharuch section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The expressway is spread over 87 km and was opened to the public in three tranches. The motive was to expand connectivity with the economic hubs and to provide a seamless travel experience for the commuters. Transportation can be made in a faster manner on these highways across Gujarat.
The Union Minister said that the connectivity is well interconnected with the main logistics hubs in Vadodara. As a result, this will help boost economic development in Ankleshwar and Bharuch region. The completion of the 87 km stretches of the Vadodara -Mumbai Expressway highlights the government’s prime concern of building a strong road network.
