For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand during the ongoing festive season, Indian Railways has introduced a few more special trains from Gujarat to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. These festival special trains will be operated by Western Railway (WR) zone. The zonal railway is already running 344 trips of festival special trains on Special Fare to various destinations.

Around six lakh passengers will be benefitted especially during this festive season with the running of these festival special trains. The booking of some of these trains have already commenced. 

List of festival special trains from Gujarat to Bihar, UP and Uttarakhand:-

Train No. 09403/09404 Sabarmati – Danapur Superfast Special (Weekly) –

  • Timings: The train number 09403 Sabarmati-Danapur Superfast Special will depart from Sabarmati every Sunday at 08:15 hrs and will reach Danapur at 14:15 hrs, the next day. This train will run from November 12 to November 26. Similarly, the train number 09404 Danapur-Sabarmati Superfast Special will depart from Danapur every Monday at 18:00 hrs and will reach Sabarmati at 23:30 hrs, the next day. This train will run from November 13 to 27th November 27.

  • Stoppages and Coach Composition:- Enroute this train will halt at Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Ajmer, Jaipur, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Achhnera, Agra Fort, Tundla, Etawah, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Pt. Train Number 09129/09130 Vadodara-Haridwar Superfast Special (Weekly)

  • Timings:- The train number 09129 Vadodara-Haridwar Superfast Special will depart from Vadodara every Saturday at 19:00 hrs and will reach Haridwar at 14:30 hrs, the next day. This train will run from November 11 to November 25. Similarly, the train number 09130 Haridwar–Vadodara Superfast Special will depart from Haridwar every Sunday at 17:20 hrs and will arrive at Vadodara at 11:25 hrs, the next day.
  • Stoppages and Coach Composition:- During its journey between the two stations, the  train will halt at Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Kota, Gangapur City, Mathura, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Gaziabad, Meerut City, Muzaffarnagar, Tapri and Roorkee stations. This train comprises First AC, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches.

Train No. 09101/09102 Vadodara-Gorakhpur Special (Weekly)

  • Timings: The train number 09101 Vadodara–Gorakhpur Special will depart from Vadodara every Monday at 19:00 hrs and reach Gorakhpur at 23:30 hrs, the next day. This train will run from November 13 to November 27. Similarly, the train number 09102 Gorakhpur-Vadodara Special will depart from Gorakhpur every Wednesday at 05:00 hrs and will reach Vadodara at 08:35 hrs, the next day. This train will run from November 15 to 29.
  • Stoppages and Coach Composition: On its journey, the train will halt at Godhra, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Bharatpur, Achhnera, Agra Fort, Tundla, Shikohabad, Mainpuri, Farrukhabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Bara Banki, Gonda and Basti stations. This train is composed of First AC, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches.

Train No. 09343/09344 Dr. Ambedkarnagar-Patna (Weekly)

  • Timings: The train number 09343 Dr. Ambedkar Nagar–Patna Special will depart from Dr. Ambedkar Nagar every Thursday at 18:30 hrs and reach Patna at 18:30 hrs, the next day. This train will run from November 9 to 30. Similarly, the train number 09344 Patna–Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Special will depart from Patna every Friday at 21:30 hrs and reach Dr. Ambedkar Nagar at 23:55 hrs, the next day.   • Timings: The train number 09413 Ahmedabad–Samastipur Special will depart from Ahmedabad every Thursday at 15:30 hrs and will reach Samastipur at 04:00 hrs on Saturday. This train will run from November 9 to 30. Similarly, the train number 09414 Samastipur-Ahmedabad Special will depart from Samastipur every Saturday at 08:15 hrs and will arrive Ahmedabad at 22:45 hrs, the next day.
  • Stoppages and Coach Composition: During its journey, this train will halt at Vadodara, Surat, Nandurbar, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Buxar, Ara, Patna and Barauni stations. This train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches.
