PM Modi inaugurates 10 new Vande Bharat trains
Earlier this month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a significant expansion of India’s rail network with the inauguration of 10 new Vande Bharat trains. These trains, spanning diverse routes across the country, commenced their inaugural journeys, linking key destinations such as New Jalpaiguri to Patna, Patna to Lucknow, and Lucknow to Dehradun, among others.
This expansion also includes routes like Puri to Visakhapatnam, Kalaburagi to Bengaluru, Ranchi to Varanasi, Khajuraho to Delhi, Ahmedabad to Mumbai, Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam, and Mysuru to Chennai. With the introduction of these new services, the tally of operational Vande Bharat Express trains in India has now surged past the 50 mark.
