Amid heavy rainfall in Andhra Pradesh, the South Central Railway has issued an advisory for its passengers informing them of some trains being diverted.

In a post on X, the South Central Railway said that up and down main line at the Rayanapadu Station have been suspended due to flooding over the tracks, resulting in several trains being diverted on alternate routes. Meanwhile, MGR Chennai Central – Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express has been cancelled entirely.

Train diversions

As per the list issued by the South Central Railway, train number 16032 Sri Vaishno Devi Katra – Chennai Andaman Express has been diverted to take alternate route. Under the diversion, it will skip all stoppages between Jammikunta and Sulurupeta.

Train number 12626 New Delhi – Thiruvananthapuram Kerala Express has also been diverted to run on alternate route and will skip stoppages between Warangal and Renigunta.

Lastly, train number 12269 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Nizamuddin Duronto Express has been diverted and will skip all stoppages between Vijayawada and Nagpur.
